Welcome!

I am honored to serve Senate District 25 and continue to be awed by the responsibility and the opportunity this affords me.

At the end of this last session I was elected by my colleagues to serve on the Joint Budget Committee. This is a great honor and a daunting task in this economic climate. I look forward to it. I had served as Chair of Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and on Local Government and Energy and on Appropriations. In addition, I'm serving on Legislative Council. I am thrilled with these appointments and hope that as you have ideas and suggestions that relate you will share them with me.

During the last interim I served on the Committee to Study Pinnacol Assurance, the Early Childhood and School Readiness Commission and I chaired the Water Resources Review Committee. This interim finds the state without the funds to staff interim committees.
